Looks like Sal Chavez will be wearing an Army uniform
(Montebello) – Schurr Quarterback Sal Chavez has received an offer to play football at Army Schurr Coach Marco Ramirez said today.
“It is one of the biggest offers in the history of the school,” Ramirez said.
Chavez, who also played defensive end and some linebacker for the Spartans, will have an opportunity to play different positions at West Point. “He’s was recruited as an athlete,” Ramirez said.
Schurr advanced to the second round of the CIF Mid-Valley Division playoffs this past season before falling to Arroyo.
