D-Bar HC Ryan Maine steps down
(Diamond Bar) – Ryan Maine resigned as head coach at Diamond Bar Monday. Diamond Bar finished 7-5 overall in 2013 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They beat defending CIF Champion Downey in the first round.
Cordell Broadus, son of rapper Snoop Dog, recently transferred out of Diamond Bar to Las Vegas and Antonio “Noodles” Hull who just transferred in last year is reportedly on his way out as well. The Brahmas went 4-6 in 2012 and missed the playoffs. Maine was hired before the 2011 season.
“There are some opportunities I am going to pursue that are better long term for the family,” Maine said.
