1. The La Canada – St. Francis Division 3A semi final game has been moved to Maranatha High School – Friday night 7:00 p.m.

2. The Angels sign Mike Trout to a one year, $1 million deal. It’s the largest pre-arbitration contract for a player.

3. The San Dimas football team receives their CIF Mid-Valley Division championship rings today at noon on campus.

4. “There are too many individual actions right now. That’s why you have to be disciplined and implement discipline. That’s how you make that better. I don’t think there’s a lot of discipline right now.” – Pau Gasol after the Lakers loss to Indiana Tuesday night.

5. Clayton Kershaw allowed three runs and five hits in two innings as the Dodgers fell to the Diamondbacks 4-1 Wednesday in the Cactus League opener.

6. The Angels’ Josh Hamilton will be sidelined at least two weeks after straining a calf muscle.

9. Happy Birthday to James Worthy who turns 53 today.

10. On this date in in 1996 the LA Kings trade Wayne Gretzky to the St. Louis Blues for three players and two draft picks. Gretzky played in only 31 games for the Blues, before signing with the New York Rangers in July. He retired after the 1998-’99 season.
