Monrovia High School has selected Ontario Christian’s Chris Stevens as its new football coach.

Stevens, 42, is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and recently completed his second stint leading the Ontario Christian program. After serving as the OC HC from 2005 through 2008, Stevens stepped away from coaching with the birth of triplets. He returned in 2012 and helped advanced the Knights to the CIF East Valley D-12 Finals against Rim of The World.

In his combined tenure Ontario Christian has gone 52-22 with two CIF finals appearances, and six playoff births.

His hiring ends a process that began for Monrovia on January 7th, when Ryan Maddox stepped down after six successful seasons.
