Adam McCreery started but lasted just two innings for APU

(Glendora) – Azusa Pacific split a doubleheader with Cal Baptist Monday losing the opener 9-3 before rebounding to take the nightcap 3-1 on Senior Day. In the first game the Cougars jumped in front 2-0 in the first inning but allowed five runs over the next two innings and never recovered. Andy Crowley had four hits for Cal Baptist and Blair Moore had two hits and four RBI. Daniel Martin, Matt Kimmel and Danny Gonzales all had a base hit and a ribbie for APU.

Adam McCreery started and went two innings for the Cougars before giving way to Jacob Cage. Seth Gill and Mike Fairchild also both threw for Azusa Pacific. Tyson Miller went seven strong for Cal Baptist and allowed three runs and eight hits to pick up the victory.

In the nightcap Joseph Daris had two triples to lead the Cougars to a 3-1 victory and a split of the double dip.
