2. Lance Stephenson rejects the Pacers’ five-year $44 million deal and signs with Charlotte for 3 years, $27 million.

3. Tony Gwynn was never even mentioned or paid tribute to at the All-Star game Tuesday night in Minnesota.

4. Byron Scott is interviewed for a third time by the Lakers for the head coach position.

5. Former Minnesota Viking punter Chris Kluwe intends to sue the team over allegations of anti-gay conduct by a coach.

6. Receiver Marquise Lee, a second round draft pick out of USC, signs a four-year, $5 million deal with Jacksonville.

9. Happy Birthday to former NBA star Connie Hawkins who turns 72 today. Hawkins was an All-Star with the Phoenix Suns from 1970- 1973 and played for the Lakers in ’73-’74.
