Breaking News! The Angelus League has been renamed……the San Antonio League.
I lost interest in Shark Week when every shark was portrayed as a good guy and every shark attack victim was portrayed as a bad guy…I’m sick of the sharks…
Yep, I’d keep an eye on Cantwell.
I saw this feature on Yahoo today that listed “Ten Games To Watch during the NBA’s 2014-2015 season”…Ten games? Ten games not to miss? I haven’t seen ten NBA games worth watching in the last ten years…Okay, 15.
So Brady Quinn, whose accomplished less in the NFL than John Hufnagel, has signed with the Miami Dolphins, his seventh team…And Tim Tebow can’t get a sniff with an 8-6 record as a starter, a 17 to 9 touchdown-interception mark, and the same number of playoffs wins as Tony Romo.
Is Tebow comparable to Romo, no. However, he can’t get a call? I’m sorry, but there is something else at play here…don’t you think?
We need more day games in high school football…
Last Add Breaking News: Just kidding…Then again you never know what the next week might bring.
Muir brings three of five back on the offensive line in 2014.
Would it be the end of the world if the Los Angeles Clippers became the Seattle Clippers? I don’t think so…or given with the way the Lakers are being run maybe they should head to the northwest.
Personally, if I owned the Clippers I would move them to Anaheim. Doesn’t that make sense? Wouldn’t they have the market from the OC to the border?
Troy Tulowitzki is going to have season ending injury…and I am now officially toast.
Sierra Canyon, is replacing Andre Nunez at quarterback, but what was a young team a year ago is older now. Marcus Brown and Eric Cohen give them beef in the trenches while Isaiah Renfro and Kaizer Butler are home run hitters. Do not write these guys off because they went 5-6 a year ago. They’re a player in the Mid-Valley with Paraclete and San Dimas.
Who is the fourth team in the Mid-Valley? Baldwin Park, Montebello, and Pomona are in the argument.
I’ve been asked where I see the Mission Valley? My answer is I don’t know. I liked South El Monte when I saw them. I liked El Monte. I wasn’t overwhelmed by Arroyo, but it is Arroyo….And on a good day Gabrielino and Mt. View can beat all of them. There are good teams in the MVL, but is there a semifinal team? I don’t know.
I believe Rosemead is right in the mix, but depth scares me for the Panthers. They don’t have much and a couple of injuries could derail the entire season. (Yeah, I know that can be said about any team.)
Note to NorRock Faithful: Is it fair to say/ask if you do not return to the CIF finals this December that the 2014 was a disappointment?
Regards:
In regards to Fantasy Baseball: I’ve never been much of a fan.
In regards to Azusa: They are the easiest team to write off before a new season begins, and they are always the team everyone comes back to and says is a surprise. Scherf, dude gets it done.
In regards to San Gabriel: I got a note saying the Matadors are going to go 0-10.
In regards to La Salle: Does anyone out there believe they are a legitimate threat?
In regards to Tony Stewart: Does he race again? Or is this it for him?
The Dude abides…
