(Carson)- Gyasi Zardes scored twice and Robbie Keane added another to lead the LA Galaxy to a 3-0 win over Chivas USA Sunday in what was dubbed as “The Last Clasico” at StubHub Center.
For nearly a decade Chivas and the Galaxy has battled in the “SuperClasico” but with Chivas set to change its name and colors next season as they complete the transition from thier previous owner this could be the final match.
Zardes scored in the 41st and 71st minutes while Keane lifted a nice chip shot over the head of the Chivas goaltender in the 59th minute.
The Galaxy won the season series against Chivas USA 2-0-1 and dominated the “SuperClasico” since it started in 2005 20-4-7.
There were 18,652 in attendance at the StubHub Center.
