1.  Monrovia’s Jordan Nathan’s 79-yard touchdown reception to tie the game with San Dimas with 6:10 left in the fourth quarter and the blocked extra point in overtime to seal the win.

2.  The Kansas City Chiefs sign quarteback Alex Smith to a $68 million contract extension.

3.  Former Monrovia head coach Ryan Maddox has accepted a position as Dean of Students at South Hills High School.

4.  49er defensive end Ray McDonald faces a six game suspension, after the NFL updated it’s personal conduct policy, after being arrested on domestic violence charges.

5.  Trojan Cody Kessler throws for 394-yards and four touchdowns in USC’s blowout win over Fresno State. Kessler added a score on the ground as well.

6.  El Monte’s Roy Barrajas’ 238-yards and four touchdowns Friday night against Baldwin Park.

7.  The UCLA defense scores three times in the Bruin’s 28-20 win over Virginia

8.  On this day in 1975 Tom Seaver becomes the first pitcher to strike out 200 in eight consecutive seasons.
