All games begin at 7:00 pm unless otherwise indicated

Thursday September 4

La Serna (0-1) at Los Osos (1-0)

Both teams are coming off an opening week loss. Tough schedule for Lancers; they’re looking at 0-2.

Los Osos 35 La Serna 21

Verdugo Hills (0-0) at Crescenta Valley (0-0)

CV and Brian Gadsby finally get started. Should be okay at home in opener against Verdugo.

Crescenta Valley 34 Verdugo Hills 24

Friday September 5

Cathedral (0-0) at Muir (0-1)

Are Mustangs completely healthy? Tough time to find out with Cathedral coming to town.

Cathedral 38 Muir 17

La Salle (1-0) at Pasadena (1-0)

This suddenly looks like a decent game. La Salle still has the edge.

La Salle 28 Pasadena 17

Buena Park (1-0) at California (1-0)

Good win for Cal in opener; better win for Coyotes.

Buena Park 42 California 17

Vista Murrietta (0-0) at Downey (1-0)

The Vikings rallied for a victory over Mayfair in opener. This one will be a little different. Vista too strong.

Vista Muirrietta 31 Downey 14

Charter Oak (0-1) at La Mirada (1-0)

Charter Oak is solid but if the Matadores can beat Tesoro, they can beat the Chargers.

La Mirada 27 Charter Oak 20

St. John Bosco (1-0) at Norwalk (1-0) at Cerritos College

Norwalk rocked Bell. This is a completely different kettle of fish.
