PRIME GAMES
Thursday, September 25th
Rio Hondo Prep (2-2) at La Canada (3-1)
The Spartans intrigue me. In the long run the Kares are going to be the Kares, but an LC victory will bring a lot of joy to their fifty fans in attendance.
La Canada 27 Rio Hondo Prep 18

Friday, September 26th
Nipomo (3-1) at Atascadero (3-1)
Ready to head north and see this one. These teams have not played each other since the new millennium began because one was good and the other wasn’t. I want to believe in the Titans, but the Greyhounds have the boom, boom, bash.
Atascadero 35 Nipomo 21

Keppel (1-3) at Maranatha (4-0)
The Aztecs are not going to win this game, they just need to make a good showing.
Maranatha 38 Keppel 20

Mission Prep (3-1) at Linfield Christian (2-2)
MP lays down the law, go with the Royals.
Mission Prep 30 Linfield Christian 14

Village Christian (4-0) at Verdugo Hills (1-2)
The Crusaders are going to get tested, VH is not Animo.
Village Christian 24 Verdugo Hills 22

Whittier Christian (0-4/2-2) vs. Western Christian (0-4) at Whittier College
Two teams looking for life…I go with “The Rushing of Oz”.
Whittier Christian 33 Western Christian 11

Pioneer (2-2) at Cantwell (2-1)
Note to Cardinals; No horsing around, you need this win. Of course you’ll do well in the South Catholic, the point is to make people fear you in November. You don’t want to win league and get the third place team out of the Northern League.
Cantwell 17 Pioneer 10

Saturday, September 27th
Heritage Christian (3-1) vs Brethren Christian (3-1)
I’ve drank the Kool Aid before…I’m willing to drink it again, but HC you have to win this one.
Heritage Christian 31 Brethren Christian 18

Brentwood (3-0) at Pasadena Poly (3-0) at 2:PM
This one is interesting…If the Eagles expect to compete with Viewpoint and Sierra Canyon they have to take care of business here. If the Panthers expect to steel themselves up before RHP comes into view, they have to make a showing here.
Pasadena Poly 20 Brentwood 17
