Terrell Watson leads APU with 204-yards and three touchdowns against the South Dakota Mines.
(Rapid City) Terrell Watson rushed for 204-yards and three touchdowns and Chad Jefferies threw for 251 and three touchdowns as the APU Cougars crushed the South Dakota School of Mines Hardrockers 52-30 in Rapid City, South Dakota Saturday.Tanner Henry added three catches for 104-yards and a score and Blake Robertson hauled in four for 74-yards and two touchdowns. Tyree Davis had a 65-yard punt return for a score and Jamie Cacciatore booted a 44-yard field goal to round out the scoring.
Steven Fanua led the defense with 11 tackles and Jonathan Thropay added six with an interception.
The defense also tallied six sacks- two by Kalvin Davis and one each by Na’im Colbert, Pasiaka Fahina, Greg Ehrhart and Ethan Zeidler.
