Paraclete (9-3, Gold Coast #1) at Northview (11-1, Valle Vista #1) at San Dimas High School

Two extremely physical teams will be locked in a battle in the trenches. Both teams have homerun hitters in Melquis Stovall for the Spirits and Alex Camacho for the Vikings. Both teams rely heavily on the run and the team that can be efficient in the passing game will have the advantage. Can Paraclete erase the bad memories of last year’s loss in San Dimas and is Northview ready for what it takes to win in the semis?

Northview 28 Paraclete 21

Sierra Canyon (11-1, Gold Coast #2) at Pomona (8-4, Miramonte #1)

The Trailblazers will need to get the ball into Isiah Renfro’s (54-1,201 11td’s) hands more than three times on offense if they expect to keep pace with the Red Devils. Pomona’s defense has been as big a story in 2014 as the offense and Darreon Lockett (49 total td’s) with the best points against total in the Mid Valley Division. The difference in this one will be the coaching staffs and Sierra Canyon’s is playoff tested.

Sierra Canyon 21 Pomona 17
