4.) On this date in 2008 Rosemead routed San Dimas 59-22 to advance to the semi finals of the Mid-Valley Division playoffs. Two weeks later the Panthers fell to Paraclete in the finals.

5.) Former Miami Dolphin Hall of Fame wide receiver Paul Warfield turns 72 today.
