1. Cavs, Knicks and Thunder involved in six-player trade that sends Dion Waiters to OKC JR Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cavs. Three players sent to Knicks with non guaranteed contracts.

2. Firebaugh (9-5) boys’ basketball lost a 10-point lead to Compton-Dominguez before losing in overtime by two.  It is their third loss by two-points or less this season.

3. Pac-12 is 6-2 in bowl season, SEC 5-4, Big-12 1-5.

4. Anaheim Ducks still hold a 11-point lead in Pacific. Los Angeles Kings currently sit in the final Wildcard spot with 47-points

5. Alina Kupchack 15, passed away after a long illness. She is the daughter of Laker GM Mitch Kupchack.

6. On this date in 1980, the Philadelphia Flyers set the NHL record for 35-straight without a loss.

7. LA Clippers are currently 6th in the Western Conference at 23-12, the LA Lakers are 11-24, 8-games out of a playoff spot.

8. Bridget Phu leads the Rosemead Panthers girls’ basketball team in scoring with 8.9 ppg.

9. Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders informs team he no longer wants to play basketball.
