The Ten

(“The TEN” is not a top ten but ten items worth being included in “The TEN”)

1. Jason Garrett agrees to new five-year, $30 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys.

2. Woody Hayes won four national championships as coach of Ohio State, the  first in 1954 and the last in 1970.

3. “Not right now.” – Ohio St. HC Urban Meyer when asked if would ever consider coaching in the NFL.

4. Arizona Cardinal DC Todd Bowles is hired as New York Jets HC.

5. Former replacement official Lance Easley, who made the infamous “Fail Mary” call in 2012, has been battling depression and has even had thoughts of suicide in the last two years.

6. The Lakers fall behind 18-0 and lose to Miami 78-75 as Kobe Bryant misses a three at the buzzer. Bryant goes 3-19 from the field.

7. Maranatha senior guard Tyler Dorsey.

8. Valparaiso offers La Mirada WR/DB Robert Caggiano.

9. Mo Williams scores a career high 52 points as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat Indiana 110-101.

10. On this day in 1968 the Green Bay Packers beat the Oakland Raiders  33-14 in Miami in Super Bowl II. Bart Starr is named MVP.
