3. Robert Morris beats North Florida 81-77 in an NCAA play in game. Dayton holds off Boise State 56-55.

4. The Baltimore Ravens cut running back Bernard Pierce after he is arrested for drunk driving early Wednesday morning.

5. The Oakland Raiders sign running back Trent Richardson to a two-year deal. Richardson, a third overall pick, has been released by two teams in three years.

6. Texas Rangers’ pitcher Yu Darvish has season ending elbow surgery.

8. Leah Still, daughter of Cincinnati Bengals’ unrestricted free agent Devon Still, doesn’t have any active disease in her body, doctors informed the family Tuesday. This means that the little girl’s battle with pediatric cancer could soon be coming to the positive resolution many have been hoping for. Leah, who was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma last June and given a 50-50 chance for survival.
