1.  The NCAA Basketball Final Four is set with Wisconsin taking on Kentucky and Duke taking on Michigan State.

2.  APU’s shortstop Daniel Martin is currently hitting .388 with 10 home runs and 42 rbi’s.  Martin leads the PacWest Conference in both home runs and rbi’s.

3.  The Los Angeles Dodgers and Angels begin their preseason Freeway Series Thursday night in Anaheim.

4.  The NFL is expected to take a draft pick away and suspend Atlantic Falcon president Rich McKay from the competition committee for piping in crowd noise during games for the past two seasons.

5.  1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat was birthed on this day in 1970.

6.  After going 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, defending NHL Champs Los Angeles Kings are two points out of a Wild Card spot in the Western Confernce.

7.  Domenica Mendoza in 5-1 with 38 strikeouts for the 8-2 Arroyo Lady Knights.

8.  On this day in 1981, Indiana beat North Carolina 63-50 to win the NCAA Basketball Championship

9.  StubHub has filed an antitrust suit against the Golden State Warriors and Ticketmaster for conspiring to create an illegal resale market by forcing season ticket holders to only resell their tickets through the Ticketmaster exchange.
