(Pico Rivera) – Eric Yost, who was an assistant on Vinnie Lopez’ staff last year, has been named the interim coach at El Rancho sources confirmed Monday. Yost, who is a teacher on campus, will also apply for the position but there is no guarantee that he will get the position.
The job has been posted internally since Lopez stepped down to take the Pacifica job on Friday, and will close on Wednesday. The Dons needed a coach to step in immediately with spring football looming and a passing tournament at Charter Oak on Saturday. Yost is that guy…for now.
