2. With two games remaining in the Barclay’s Premier League, five teams are in danger of being relegated.

3. Van Slyke hits 3-run homer to help the Dodgers improve to 14-2 at home.

4. Los Angeles Clippers are one-win away from their first Western Conference finals.

5. La Canada softball Sammy Jedrey five-home runs and 24 RBIs. Spartans are in first place.

6. Pasadena, Burbank and Arcadia baseball are all fighting for the final playoff spot in Pacific.

7. In 1875, Chicago baseball recorded the first shutout when they defeated St. Louis 1-0.

8. “This is one time you can be dad and not coach!” – Chris Paul overheard telling Doc Rivers to enjoy Austin Rivers play in Game 3.

9. Steve Smith turns 36 today.

10. “At 6-foot-1, 240 pounds, Watson has an imposing frame that could make him a bruiser in the Bengals’ backfield. If he makes the team, he could be a key short-yardage and goal-line addition. The standout from Asuza Pacific flew under most radars during the pre-draft process, but the Bengals showed interest following his impressive, nine-carry, 55-yard, MVP-worthy performance in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. They remained interested through his signing.” – Coley Harvey on former APU running back Terrell Watson
