1. The Chicago Blackhawks beat Tampa Bay 2-1 in Game Four to even the Stanley Cup Finals at two games apiece.

2. Louisville extends Coach Rick Pitino’s contract four years through the 2025-’26 season.

3. Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer returned to full practice, coming back from a torn ACL that ended his season last November.

4. The San Diego Chargers announce they will retire LaDanian Tomlinson’s number 21 jersey at halftime of the November 22nd game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

5. Detroit Tigers’ pitcher Justin Verlander is set to make his first start Saturday against Cleveland. The 2011 Cy Young Award winner/MVP has been sidelined all season with a strained right triceps.

6. The Angels’ Albert Pujols hit a solo shot Tuesday night in an 8-2 win over Tampa Bay to tie Mickey Mantle for 16th on the all-time home run list with number 536.

7. Boise State offers La Mirada defensive end Keanu Salepaga (class of 2016.).

8. On this day in 1982 Larry Holmes TKOs Gerry Cooney in the 13th round to retain the Heavyweight boxing title.

9. Happy Birthday to Hall of Fame Quarterback Joe Montana who turns 59 today.
