After a two hour and 14 minute rain delay, the LA Galaxy battled the Columbus Crew to a 1-1 tie Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio.
Sebastian Lletget scored just 14 minutes in off of a pass from Robbie Rogers as the Galaxy put plenty of pressure on the Crew and took the 1-0 lead into the break.
However in the second half Columbus rallied and Federico Higuain took advantage of a deflection off of the Galaxy’s Leonardo and scored the equalizer.
With the draw, the Galaxy is now 5-5-7 on the year.
