(Temple City)- Temple City has named South Pasadena assistant Marc Shettleroe as its head coach sources confirmed Friday. Shettleroe spent the last four years at South Pasadena as an assistant working mainly with the offensive line.
Riley Saxon, who was the JV HC two years ago and the Freshman coach last year at Temple City, will be on staff, working with the quarterbacks and running backs. Shettleroe is working on putting together the rest of his staff.
Shettleroe takes over for Rob Castaneda, who was dismissed last month after just one year. The Rams went 3-7 in 2014, including 1-4 in the Rio Hondo League and missed the playoffs.
