Mt. Sac   7          San Mateo 6              (Dec. 12, 2009 at San Mateo, CA)

Mt. Sac completed its quest for the CCCAA Championship just getting by San Mateo. The win should also give Mt. Sac the number one spot in the National Junior College final rankings.

Charter Oak won their second consecutive CIF Southern Section title on Friday night and it was a former Charger who made the big play to secure the win for Mt. Sac. 

 Freshman Michael Harrell (Charter Oak) only had one catch on the day but it was huge for 64-yards and a touchdown as time was winding down in the third quarter.  Jeremy Brown (Los Altos) booted the extra point that was difference in the game.

Ahmere Owens (Muir) added three catches for 38-yard and a kick return of 19-yards.  Jesses Canada (Monrovia) caught three as well for 23-yards.  Bryce McBride (Los Altos) had four carries for eight yards.

On defense, Austin Daniels (Muir) had one tackle

Owens, Canada, Daniels, and Anress Ikner ended their junior college careers as champions and will be looking to move on to the next level.  As soon as we know where, we will let you know.  Or, if you have any scoop on where they might be going, let us know!
