1. Bell Gardens returning quarterback Jordan Cardenas threw for over 1900 yards and ran for over 500 last year.

2. Former USC quarterback Max Wittek has earned the starting QB job at Hawaii.

3. The LA Coliseum is the only stadium so far that has told the NFL it is available to serve as a temporary home for a relocated team. The Rose Bowl and the StubHub Center declined to respond and Dodger Stadium and Angel Stadium have not given a definitive answer.

4. The Raiders and Chargers invested almost $900,000 in a ballot initiative to fast-track their proposed stadium in Carson.

5. The Angels are one of five teams that have already been linked to former Detroit Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski.
