2014 stats: Rec: 4-catches for 36-yards; Def: 8 tackles, 13 assisted, 21 total.
Morris will be a featured back for Chino and new HC Jesse Ceniceros’ double wing offense.
Morris missed the final three games last season with a shoulder injury, and only a sophomore, didn’t generate the numbers, but he is back at 100% to start the 2015 season.
Ceniceros, after seeing Morris in camp, has said Morris has done things he’s only seen a Penny do, referring to D1 running backs Rashaad and Elijaah Penny who played for Ceniceros at Norwalk.
“One of the best athletes I have coached. He has tremendous hands and can catch anything thrown to him. He will be a team leader for the next two years.” said Ceniceros.
