Rosemead Getting Ready

(Rosemead) – Depth is supposed to be an issue for Rosemead this year but the Panthers had close to 40 players out Monday and a few that weren’t there.

“We have pretty good numbers but a lot of them are young and inexperienced,” said Rosemead HC Marc Paramo. “We have good skill position guys and some solid lineman as well.”
The Panthers have several key returning players. Everybody knows about quarterback Steven Nava but WR/DB Jordan Parham and running back Robbie Franco will also play big roles. If Nava can hit some big passes it should open the ground attack for Franco.

“We’ll be ok if we can get through that non league schedule,” Paramo said. The Panthers open at home against Northview, then travel to Diamond Ranch, then back home to take on Burroughs and then out to San Dimas. It’s a tough schedule but does have plenty of local favor.
