Thursday Night

Walnut (1-2, 0-0) at Northview (2-1, 0-0) at Covina District Field

Against solid competition the Mustangs have been outscored 88-7. The Vikings are more than a solid competitor.

Charter Oak (2-1, 0-0) at Bell Gardens (3-0, 0-0)

The Lancers will need to control the ball and clock to keep the Charger offense on the sideline but in the end Charter Oak’s speed will overcome.

Azusa (0-2, 0-0) at Montebello (3-0, 0-0)

It’s going to be a long night for Azusa who is struggling while the Oilers are finding ways to win.

Viewpoint (2-1, 0-0) at Sierra Canyon (3-0, 0-0)

The Patriots can put points on the board but so can the Trailblazer. The difference is in favor of the Sierra Canyon defense.

Villa Park (2-0, 0-0) at Pomona (2-1, 0-0)

The Red Devils have another tough test against a Spartan team that has outscored opponents 82-17. Pomona will need an error free game to have a chance.

Rosemead (0-3, 0-0) at San Dimas (1-1, 0-0)

Both teams are coming off of losses. One a tough loss the other a blowout. It will be one more week before the Panthers get their first win of 2015.

Covina (1-1, 0-0) at Baldwin Park (0-3, 0-0)

The Colts lost a heartbreaker last week but are playing well. The Braves might need a few more games to get in synch with coach Tabatabai’s offense.

Mt. View (2-1, 0-0) at Duarte (0-3, 0-0)

The Vikings have played well since their opening loss to Bassett. Another win against the Falcons will give Mt. View momentum going into league action.
