Andres Hooper and the Vikings are sitting at number three

Four of the top five teams were on bye this past week. With that said, no changes in the top ten for this week as those who did play all won. Most teams with the exception of Sierra Canyon and Paraclete have begun or will begin league play this week. We’ll see which teams rise to the top once the pressure intensifies!

1. Sierra Canyon (5-0 0-0) – The Trailblazers got a week off to prepare for a tough road game against Nordhoff.
2. Paraclete (3-3, 0-0) – The Spirits evened their record at 3-3 with the win over Bishop. Up next a battle with 4-1 Westlake.
3. Northview (4-1, 0-0) – The Vikings took the week off to prepare for Valle Vista action and take on Rowland Friday night.
4. Montebello (4-1, 0-0) – Like three of the four teams above them enjoyed a week off in preparation for Almont League play..
5. Bell Gardens (3-2, -0) – The bye week came at a good time for the Lancers who were struggling on offense.
6. San Dimas (3-2, 0-0) – The Saints got their record back in to the plus side with a solid win over Cal.
7. Pomona (4-2, 0-0) – The Red Devils dropped 51 on Santa Monica and now get a week off before they begin Miramonte League action.
8. Covina (3-2, 0-0) – Thoroughly dominated a 3-1 Bassett team looking to make their way into the top ten.
9. Arroyo (4-2, 0-0) – The Knights positioned themselves atop the Mission Valley League with a lopsided with over El Monte.
