(Alhambra) – Jordan Cardenas threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns to lead Bell Gardens to a 28-7 win over Alhambra Friday night in Almont League action.
Juan Carranza had 106 yards on the ground and Nikko Fierro also ran for 100 yards and a score. One of Cardenas’ touchdown strikes was a 71-yard strike to Isaiah Remigio.
For the Moors Joe Santana ran for 124 yards on 26 carries and Dominic Wilson threw for a touchdown but threw only two passes for Alhambra.
Bell Gardens racked up 496 yards of total offense while Alhambra totaled 202.
The Lancers improved to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Almont while the Moors dropped to 3-4 and 1-1.
