St. Francis still hasn’t won a league game and has suddenly lost three straight. Cathedral gets another big Angelus league win. Burroughs survives and Downey looks good in the SGV. La Serna is La rolling while La Mirada is making a mockery of the Suburban. Harvard-Westlake joins the party after big win over Golden Knights.
1. Cathedral (7-0, 2-0) – Phantoms get St. Franks Friday.
2. La Serna (5-2, 2-0) – Lancers are Rio good.
3. La Mirada (5-3, 4-0) – The Matadores have allowed seven points in four league games.
4. Burroughs (6-1, 4-0) – Whew! That Raeshawn kid is good!
5. Downey (4-3, 2-0) – Vikings should run SGV table now.
6. Salesian (4-3, 1-1) – Mustangs won’t take a hit for loss to Phantoms.
7. Harvard-Westlake (5-2, 2-0) – Wolverines raise eyebrows with win over St. Francis.
8. Burbank (5-2, 3-1) – Bulldogs still have eye on the Pacific prize.
9. St. Francis (4-3, 0-2)- Bottom line: Golden Knights need a win.
10. Crescenta Valley (5-2, 3-1) – Falcons thump Muir; still in the hunt.
