(Arcadia) – Burbank Bulldogs ran its way to victory over host Arcadia 31-8 Friday night in a Pacific League contest at Salter Stadium.

Passing played a minimal role in this contest, as the majority of the scoring was produced by either running or kicking. Burbank opened the scoring, when Andrew Reyes found the end zone at the 2:52 mark of the first quarter. Arcadia answered with a score of their own, when Nico Hillier connected with Jahlique Stephens for a score on one of the games few completed passes, with: 36 remaining in the opening period. Arcadia took the lead, 8-7, as Hillier successfully converted a two-point run.

The remainder of the contest belonged to Burbank as the Bulldogs added two more rushing touchdowns, courtesy of Nick Warren. Warren scored on runs of 3 and 15 yards, respectfully. The other TD was added by Forrest Fajardo, who returned an Arcadia punt 42 yards for the score. The balance of the games scoring came off the foot of Burbank’s kicker, Andrew Hank, who successfully converted four PAT attempts and a 29 yard Field Goal.
