Viewpoint exists the top ten via the torching they received from Paraclete. Although their schedule hasn’t been the toughest in the Mid Valley, Baldwin Park has done just enough to get in with Rosemead nipping at their heels. Not much will change this week but huge games loom for November 6th.
1. Sierra Canyon (8-0, 1-0) – The Trailblazers continue to roll every team that is put in front of them with only Windward standing in the way of a trip to the Gold Coast championship game.
2. Paraclete (4-4, 1-0) – After pasting Viewpoint last Friday, the Spirits like Sierra Canyon only have a small bump in the road to the Gold Coast championship game.
3. Northview (7-1, 3-0) – The Vikings have put a stranglehold on the Valle Vista but will need to stay focused this week against Nogales.
4. Montebello (7-1, 3-0) – A third straight Almont League title awaits the Oilers with a win Friday over a Bell Gardens team reeling from their loss to Schurr.
5. Pomona (6-2, 2-0) – A forfeit last week couldn’t really be what the Red Devils wanted but the outcome would have been the same against Garey.
6. Covina (6-2, 3-0) – Took care of business against Rowland and looking at a big matchup Friday against San Dimas.
7. Arroyo (6-2, 4-0) – Will a late in the season bye hurt or help the Knights? Friday will tell when they take on Gabrielino.
8. San Dimas (5-3, 2-1) – The Saints took out their frustrations of the loss the Northview on Nogales. Can they keep that momentum up for Covina?
9. Bell Gardens (5-3, 2-1) – The Lancers have to be shaking their heads at the loss to Schurr. Can they shake the loss and get ready for Montebello?
10. Baldwin Park (5-3, 3-0) – There has been some clamoring for the Braves to be included in the top ten and they have made it. The schedule favors Baldwin Park for a Montview League crown.
