2. Roddy Hiatt is officially out as head coach at El Rancho. He packed up his belongings this week.
3. Former Dodger manager Don Mattingly meets with the Miami Marlins.
4. The Royals add Raul A. Mondesi, son of former Dodgers outfielder Raul Mondesi, to the World Series roster.
5. Minnesota Twins outfielder Torii Hunter has announced his retirement. Hunter, spent 19 seasons in the majors with the Twins, Angels and Tigers and had a career average of .277 with 353 home runs.
