1. The Kansas City Royals beat the New York Mets 7-2 and win the 2015 World Series 4-1. It’s the Royals first World Series win in 30 years.

2. The Miami Hurricanes beat the Duke Blue Devils 30-27 on a kickoff return that included eight laterals. Afterward, the ACC suspended all of the games officials, including the replay official, for two games for errors that were missed on the play.

3.  The New Orleans Saints and New York Giants combined for 1,030 yards of offense and Drew Brees threw seven touchdowns in the Saints 52-49 win over the Giants.

4.  Steph Curry has picked up where he left off last year averaging more than 39 points for the 3-0 Golden State Warriors.

5.  The Denver Broncos held Aaron Rogers to 77 passing yards and beat the Packers 29-10 and remain unbeaten.

6.  Sierra Canyon at Paraclete at Antelope Valley College Friday night for the Gold Coast League title.

7.  After his 273 yard, four touchdown performance, Los Altos’ Tyler Nevens now has rushed for 1,462 yards and 20 touchdowns.

8.  On this day in 1974 the Atlanta Braves traded Hank Aaron to the Milwaukee Brewers for Dave May and a minor league pitcher. Aaron spent the first 12 years of his MLB career in Milwaukee.

9. El Monte’s Roy Barajas only needs 83 yards Friday night agaisnt Mt. View to reach the 2,000 yard mark.
