3. The New York Mets and Manager Terry Collins agree to a two-year contract.

4. The Washington Nationals hire Dusty Baker as manager.

7. Burbank at Burroughs Friday night for the Pacific league crown.

8. Pomona athlete Darreon Lockett 2015 stats: Passing: 37-80-740 yards, 9 TD, 3 Int.; Rushing: 48-543 yards, 5 TD. Defense: 36 total tackles, 2 Int.

9. “I don’t know where we’ll end up but all I know is I don’t want to be in Pomona’s bracket in the playoffs. I want to avoid them at all costs.” A Mid-Valley team assistant coach.

10. “I didn’t know why I got a Gatorade shower. I wasn’t aware of the number. I was actually concerned how it would look getting dumped for a win. Like if Gabrielino would by ticked or Rosemead would think we’re crowning ourselves early. Then my mind was wandering thinking they did it because it was my birthday the day before. I didn’t consider it number 100 until Harold Sanin (Gabrielino HC) congratulated me after the game when we shook hands. When things settle down it will be something cool to look back on” – Arroyo HC Jim Singiser on his 100th victory last Friday night.
