1.) Former San Marino running back/Occidental standout Kwame Do turns 22 today.

2.) Rodgers to Rodgers, Green Bay wins on last play in Detroit last (Thursday) night.

4.) UCLA defeats number one ranked Kentucky 87-77 last (Thursday) night.

6.) On this date in 2009 San Dimas beat Azusa 50-24 to advance to the Mid-Valley Division Finals against Monrovia.

7.) Former New York Knicks’ star Bernard King turns 59 today.

8.) Sierra Canyon, junior, quarterback Niko Harris has thrown 43 touchdown passes and rushed for three more in 2015. In parts of three varsity seasons Harris has 52 touchdown passes and four rushing touchdowns.

9.) MLB catcher Dioner Navarro, 31, signed a free agent contract with the Chicago White Sox this week. Navarro has now been with eight different franchises since signing with the New York Yankees in 2000. Organizations: Yankees, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Rays, Dodgers again, Reds, Cubs, Blue Jays, and White Sox.

10.) In 2011 the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers went 15-0 to win a CIF and State championship. Tonight is the third CIF Final for the program and HC Jon Ellinghouse.
