1. Jake Raulerson, an offensive lineman from Texas, announced he will transfer to UCLA as a graduate student. He will be eligible to play immediately.

2. The Los Angeles Rams hire Mike Groh as their receivers coach and passing game coordinator.

3. Former Texas/NFL quarterback Vince Young was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving shortly after midnight Monday.

4. Clippers Forward Blake Griffin will be out 4-6 weeks after breaking a bone in his right hand throwing a punch. Griffin got onto an altercation with Clippers assistant equipment manager Matias Testi in a Toronto restaurant and punched him several times.

5. Former New York Giants safety Tyler Sash had a high level of CTE when he died from an accidental overdose of painkillers last September.

6. The Angels sign right-hander Garrett Richards to a one-year, $6.4 million deal.

7. Chris Paul scores 26 points to lead the Clippers to a 91-89 win over Indiana Tuesday night. The Clippers are 12-3 without Griffin.

8. On this day in 1991 the New York Giants beat the Buffalo Bills 20-19 in Super Bowl XXV when Buffalo’s Scott Norwwod misses wide right on a 44-yard field goal at the end of the game.

9. St. Andrew Gabriel (cool name) is averaging 16.1 points per game for Marshall.
