1.The NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship brackets are set with Oregon, Kansas, Virginia and North Carolina as the the top seeds.

2. Death threats force New Mexico’s Cullen Neal, son of head coach Craig Neal, to transfer out of New Mexico.

3. Former UNLV Running Rebel and Charlotte Hornet Larry “Grandmama” Johnson turns 47 today.

4. The La Canada Lady Spartans advance to the regional semi-finals with a 57-39 win over Corona Del Mar.

5. The Clippers 56th draft pick in the 2015 draft Brandon Dawson was arrested on allegations of domestic violence.

6. The Bonita Bearcats advance to the regional semi-finals with a 70-67 win over Santa Barbara.

7. The LA Galaxy lost their first road game of 2016 1-0 to the Colorado Rapids. The Galaxy only managed one shot on goal.

8. On this day in 1967 the first NFL-AFL common draft was held. The Baltimore Colts selected Bubba Smith with the first pick.

9. Diamond Ranch fell to El Camino 63-58 ending their 2016 boy’s basketball season.

10. Seven teams are representing the PAC 12 in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships. Cal, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah and USC.
