(Azusa) – Hector Spathias, who guided Bassett to a 6-5 overall record last year, was named the head coach at Gladstone Monday sources confirmed.
Spathias went 19-23 overall in four years with the Olympians including a playoff berth last year when they fell to San Dimas.
Spathias takes over for Citos Marinez who stepped down after the season. The Gladiators went 3-7 in 2015 and missed the playoffs.
