1. Holy Cross wins its first NCAA Tournament game since 1953 with a 59-55 win over Southern in the First Four at Dayton, Ohio.

2. Bonita will face Ayala in the State Regional Finals Saturday Night at Colony High.

3. Chicago White Sox DH/1B Adam LaRoche retired because team president Ken Williams told him he had to limit the time his 14-year-old son spent with the team.

4. The Chicago Bears trade tight end Martellus Bennett to the New England Patriots for a fourth round pick.

5. The Monrovia head coaching search.

6. Chino Hills rolled to its 33rd straight victory Tuesday night in a 82-62 win over Foothills Christian. The Huskies will face Bishop Montgomery in the Regional Final Saturday night.

7. Temple City baseball is off to a 5-0-1 start. The Rams tied Alhambra 6-6 on March 10.

8. After a thorough investigation MLB announced that Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig will not be suspended for his alleged role in a domestic violence incident involving his sister.

9. The Arizona Diamondbacks lead the Cactus League with an 11-3 record. The Dodgers are 10-3.
