MID VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TOP 20

Huge league games beginning on Wednesday as Diamond Ranch visits Bonita with the winner getting the jump in the Miramonte League title chase.  Also on Wednesday, La Canada will invade upstart Blair with first place on the line in the Rio Hondo League.

Friday has some marquee games on tap as Arroyo hosts Rosemead for first place in the Mission Valley League.  In the San Antonio League, Walnut will travel to South Hills to extend their eight game winning streak.

1.  Diamond Ranch (14-2) – No shame in tough loss to Alemany.

2.  Bishop Amat (14-4) – Lancers get back on track with two straight in Del Rey League.

3.  Bonita (17-1) – Madison Zylstra averaging 14 points per game.

4.  Crescenta Valley (14-4) – Cassie Pappas is continuing her assault on the Falcon record books.

5.  La Canada (14-3) – RHL first place on the line against Blair.

6.  Glendora (15-3) – Tartans get tough test in Sierra League with games against Chino and Chino Hills.

7.  Alhambra (13-4) – Moors should not look ahead to meeting with Keppel in three games.

8.  Walnut (13-3) – Mustangs looking to get the jump on another San Antonio League title when they visit South Hills.

9.  La Salle (13-3) – Lancers looking impressive at the beginning of Camino Real play.

10.  Muir (9-6) – Eight straight wins for Mustangs.

11.  South Hills (12-4) – Huskies beat Cameron Ave rival for to set up meeting with Walnut.

12.  Rosemead (11-4) – Panthers have been impressive at the beginning of Mission Valley play.

13.  Valley Christian (14-4) – Kari Kover is averaging 17 points per game.

14.  Santa Fe (13-7) – Chiefs on seven game win streak and have a date with Whittier for first place.

15.  Sierra Vista (10-5) – Lady Dons are averaging 66 points per game during Montview League play.

16.  San Dimas (12-6) – Saints stumble against Northview.

17.  Pasadena Poly (12-2) – Panthers break into the rankings with impressive win over Flintridge Prep.

18.  Covina (9-7) – Colts defense carrying team as they have allowed 21 points per game in Valle Vista League.

19.  Blair (10-9) – Vikings are looking like contenders in the Rio Hondo League.

20.  Flintridge Prep (15-5) – Rebels couldn’t contain Poly’s Michelle Miller in Prep League battle.
