1. Former Gladstone quarterback/Azusa Pacific offensive lineman Paul Flores has been invited to the Kansas City Chiefs camp. APU teammates Josh Atkinson (Oakland) and D.J. Morgan (Seattle) also were invited to NFL camps.

2. The Dodgers and AM/PM announced that Dodger Dogs would be sold at AM/PM stores in Southern California at an introductory price of two for $3.00. The price at Dodger Stadium remains one for $6.00.

3. Chris Bosh is officially out for the rest of the this season Bosh and the Miami Heat announced in a joint statement.

4. Johnny Manziel was booked Wednesday in Texas on a domestic violence charge and will appear in court today.

5. Former Lakers HC Byron Scott said he was “shocked” and “surprised” that he was fired from his position last week.

6. Only 1/2 game separates the top three teams in the Del Rio League with Cal and Santa Fe tied for first at 8-4 and Whittier at 7-4.

7. Santa Fe’s Zach Penticoff is batting .324 with 2 HR and 14 RBI.
