Workman’s Eric Aguilar will continue to play football at Coe College

(City of Industry) – Eric Aguilar, who played wide receiver and safety at Workman this past 2015 season, has Committed to Coe College in Iowa former Lobo head coach Eric McIntyre confirmed Friday.

Aguilar had other opportunities to play college football at schools such Cal Lutheran, La Verne and Greenville (Illinois), but chose Coe College because he “felt at home” when he visited the campus this past spring. He is looking forward to playing and attending school in his new environment.
Aguilar led the Lobos in Interceptions (4), Tackles in the secondary (55), receiving yards and receptions.
He was an All Montview League honoree and a National Football Scholar Athlete.

“Eric was an all around athlete who worked very hard. He was able to adapt to both sides of the ball very well,” McIntyre said.

Coe is a Division 3 school located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
