1. On Monday May 16, at 4:00 p.m Monrovia will rename the baseball field “Dave Moore Field”. Moore has taught for 34 years and was the head baseball coach for 31 years. He had an overall record of 462-260 and led Monrovia to 13 Rio Hondo League titles. Under Moore the Wildcats won the CIF SS Championship in 2006 and were runners up in 2007.

2. Los Angeles Rams safety T.J. McDonald was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of diving under the influence of a substance other than alcohol.

3. The LA Galaxy and the Philadelphia Union battle to a 2-2 draw Wednesday night at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia. Robbie Rogers and Mike Magee scored for the Galaxy.

4. Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette is forced to retire due to a neck injury. Lockette played in 34 games for Seattle over five years.
