(Monrovia) – The Blair girls racked up 22 points in the fourth quarter and pulled away to 56-39 win over Monrovia Friday in Rio Hondo League action. The Lady Vikings led by just two at halftime, 19-17, and increased the lead to 11 after three before putting it away in the fourth.
The Lady Wildcats cut the advantage to five half way through the final period before Blair went on a 12-0 run to close the game out. Iesha Fudge sealed the deal knocking in several free throws in the fourth quarter.
Blair improved to 4-1 in the Rio Hondo while Monrovia dropped to 2-3. La Canada is leading the pack at 5-0.
