Mid Valley High School Girls Basketball Top 20

This week many big games could determine League titles in the Miramonte (Bonita @ Diamond Ranch on February 5), Pacific (Crescenta Valley hosts Muir on February 1), Camino Real (Cantwell @ La Salle on February 4) and Prep (Flintridge Prep @ Pasadena Poly on February 3)

1.  Diamond Ranch (19-2) – Panthers getting ready to host Bonita on Friday.

2.  Crescenta Valley (18-4) – Falcons are poised to knock Muir off Pacific League perch.

3.  La Canada (19-3) – Lady Spartans are close to finishing Rio Hondo League undefeated.

4.  Bishop Amat (17-5) – Lancers will be battle tested come playoffs.

5.  Bonita (20-2) – Bearcats get big win against non-league Walnut.

6.  Alhambra (17-4) – Moors escape with a thrilling win against Keppel.

7.  Muir (13-6) – A Mustangs win keeps the Pacific League title in Pasadena.

8.  Walnut (17-4) – San Antonio League title is what Mustangs want.

9.  La Salle (15-6) – Lancers need to avenge early loss to Cantwell.

10.  Rosemead (15-4) – As one a Mid Valley reader says “Fear the Mead.”

11.  Glendora (17-5) – Tartans still can’t get by Ayala.

12.  South Hills (15-5) – Huskies need to get by this week to set up title shot against Walnut.

13.  Valley Christian (15-5) – Crusaders were humbled by Windward.

14.  Sierra Vista (15-5) – Lady Dons continue to roll against Montview opponents.

15.  Covina (15-7) – Colts are poised to re-take Valle Vista title.

16.  Pasadena Poly (15-2) – Panthers can clinch Prep league title with win over Flintridge Prep.

17.  Flintridge Prep (16-5) – Rebels rested for rivalry game against Poly.

18.  Duarte (13-5) – Falcons are the only threats to Sierra Vista in Montview.

19.  Santa Fe (13-7) – Saints lose a tough one to Covina last week.

20.  Burroughs (14-9) – Indians shouldn’t be knocked out of top 20 with losses to C.V and Muir.

Teams to watch:  Northview (13-8),  San Dimas (14-8), Ganesha (9-11), Whittier (14-9), St Lucy’s (13-7), and Whittier Christian (13-8)
