1. Vin Scully broadcasted his last regular season game after 67 years Sunday in the Dodgers 7-1 loss to the Giants.

2. The APU Cougars improved to 5-0 with a 31-2 win over Western Oregon. Andrew Elffers threw for 183 yards and a touchdown and led the cougars in rushing with 43 yards and a score.

3. The Dodgers travel to the Washington Nationals for the first game of the NLDS on Friday.

4. The Ram’s Todd Gurley has only managed 216 yards in four games and has a per rush average of 2.6 yards.

5. Cam Newton got flagged for taunting Deion Jones and then knocked out of the game by Jones in the Panthers’ 48-33 loss to Atlanta.

6. The Jet’s Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three more interceptions in Sunday’s loss to to the Seahawks and now has nine in his last two games.
