    The highest ranked team SEM beat was Rio Hondo Prep at 723 according to max preps. They scrimmaged Schurr who made them look like a freshman team. Only give credit when credit is due.

    @Arroyo
    Why are you even on a website that deals predominately with football, especially this time of year if you think were “cuckoos”? I know you’re one of those moms who think the world revolves around you because you “volunteer” to help with the dance. But really it’s all about the punch and cookies for you isn’t it ?

    @Arroyo, it’s not even on the same night! It’s only moved because the district personnel is too lazy to work 2 consecutive nights.

    Imagine the Knights get blown out and all the rental stuff deposits are lost and your girlfriend gained weight and got pimples in anxiety over this. Two sides. More people like dancing than high school jocks. Just more blogs about football than dancing is all. Get Real football cuckoos.

    Hey, I don’t get it. Its a 3-4 hour event. If its not a off campus dance where the facility is paid for in advance or a bunch of yuppie Roach Coaches are scheduled to come on campus and/or a DJ’s Etc. You could ask other employees in the district to work this special maybe once in the life time event. Why not start it early it ensures more people attending the game. This means more money.

    Imagine Arroyo wins the Bowl Game, CIF says to the team, you are playing for the State Championship but not going to host the event, you turned the last one down. You won’t even get a coin flip. So, pack your bags, and head up to the winner of the Northern California Regional Bowl. Now it seems that they could have done both events.
    From T. Peterson: Yeah. it is what it is. See you in La Jolla.

    @AHS wrestling,
    Still doesn’t answer my question. If the dance isn’t even the night if, why change it. And if you can’t do se arroyo, why not one if the other stadiums in the El Monte district????

    Yeah the drive sucks. but a school that sells ticks to kids weeks ahead, pays for Djs and everthing that goes along with Winter Formal, and a school of 2000 that maybe like 450 where at the game had to make a call and they sided with the around 1000 kids who will be at the Dance over 60 Kids on the football team. Maybe Im looking at it different because our wrestling team will be In SD for a tournament. So if we end around 6 the kids are bringing warm cloths and showering at the school so we can make the game cause its like 25 30 min from our tournament :D.

    @arroyo, I hope that was a joke. Not wanting the game at you’re home is the dumbest things I’ve heard in awhile. Lol

    Arroyo, you’re kidding right? Are you really trying to justify this decision? And besides, the dance wasn’t even the same night as the game!!!! It was an in campus event. It could have been pushed back a couple weeks to accommodate the most important sport in campus

    A lot of hard work goes into making a great Winter Formal. The dress,the tux, the decorations,the music, the chaperones, the refreshments, picking King and Queen, the transportation the motel.

    If not Arroyo, why not EM, SEM, Mt. View? Are district employees really that selfish? SMH

    #4 Wouldn’t it be funny if no one showed up for the winter formal? Let’s see, do I want to dress up in a tux and stand around my stupid gymnasium listening to lame music or do I want to go watch my high school make history? If you really have to think about that good luck at fryer tux.

    I respectfully disagree with coach Singiser. You would make a lot more money working for Hot Dog on a Stick than coaching.
