The problem with a local kid going JUCO here in So Cal is that he will have to compete against a lot of D1 bouncebacks so spots are getting scarce.

Why this kid got bypassed by D1 schools? Who knows? Could of been grades, size, potential…could of been anything. Important thing is he found a place to get an education that will be partially funded by someone and he gets to continue playing football.

Bunch of idiots and their advice!! Does not matter were this kid goes what matters is that he is going to get an education and if NFL is in his thoughts in the future the NFL is going to find you no matter what school you are at. NAIA, d3 D2 D1.

If you have offers why risk going to a juco and getting an injury and end up getting no scholarship!! Happens too often!!

Typical guy who doesn’t know, highlands is a very lower level school. Unless he’s not very good I’d go JC route.

Kids get there at 18 and realize it’s not what they thought it be. Best of luck to the young man!

I don’t know how this kid got looked over by D1 schools. He’s certainly a D1 talent with the best hands in the area and speed. I seen DB from schools like San Diego St, Utah and Arizona he could easily be fighting for a spot there.
